thailand

Hey everyone,
I guess ill get these shenanigans started after those captains put all the effort in to actually get it started.  I know techically I am not on the team anymore however seeing as I got the invite I figured I woukd contribute.
So right after gradumacation, I jetted off to thailand for a two week vaca with the family as a graduation present of sorts. And this place is incredible. Hot enough and humid enough to cook you alive but awesome.
We did our first week in downtown bangkok seeing allnthe buddhist temples, palaces etc. We also went to their weekend market of about 10 football fields of stalls all under sketchu roofs crammed in there. It was pretty sweet since there were all sorts of shope ranging from pottery to food to clothing to pets (which are sad since they are from puppy mills and stuff). And yes I bought some thai frat tanks since I'm sure all of yoi were wondering.
After bangkok, we flew out to a small island in southern thailand called koh samui which I am on right now typing this. We have a gorgeous villa and we are going to be diving, kayaking, bronzing on the beach and all those wonderful things one does on a south east asian island.
Its almost dinner time so I will sign off for now. I will upload a few pics and the whole lot will be on the fb at some point.

Yours truly,
Ian

Blogalog 2013

Greetings Skiercats!

It's that time of year again... summer training. Dun dun dun! The time of year when you have to saddle up and get the hours done, whether it be solo or with a group. We captains met up before everyone took off at the end of the year and decided that creating a blog was a great way to keep in touch this summer. We thought it would be a fun way to keep each other pumped up and inspired to get the training in. But aside from training, use this blog to post pictures, tell stories, and keep everyone filled in  on your summer adventures, jobs, travels, and overall mischievous activities and debauchery. I hope everyone got home safely (Swedes) and that summer is going well so far. I miss you all and I'm already looking forward to seeing/ meeting everyone (FRESHMEN!!!) in three short months!

Over and out,

Anne
